Creative Group
is the collaborative effort between friends and artists Daniel Mendoza and Mike Thomas. Starting in the late nineties Daniel and Mike were involved in the Sacramento music scene, playing in various bands and expressing themselves through audible media. Being artists, they both dabbled in other media as well. Mike constantly creating visual art, and Daniel working intensely on his writing. After a brief hiatus to explore individual endeavors and to gain focus, Daniel and Mike found themselves teaming up again to share their creativity with the world.
Their individual collections are a grand addition to the world of fine art and their collaborations an innovative expansion on its ideology. Currently both are expanding their own collections as well as collaboration, constantly pushing each other to new dimensions.

Our artists can produce beautiful, hand rendered portraits, landscapes and more from your very own photographs, or simply give us the direction and let us bring your abstract concepts to life.
Join Mendomas artist Daniel Mendoza at the Crocker Art Museums Big Names Small Art auction on May 24. Bid on "Small Art" (12 x 12 in. or less) by "Big Name" regional artists. Bids start at the small price of $25, so anyone can begin or add to their art collection. The first MENDOMAS book collaboration is in the works. The creative mindscapes of Daniel Mendoza are put to paper in this emotive collection of poetry. Experience a most surreal environment and an intense, abstractly crafted journey lead by Daniel's heartfelt writings and illustrated by Michael Thomas, whose reactive drawings embrace the ambiance of each written piece bringing word and image together wonderfully.
